Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone can let me know what the benefits of joining Canon’s CPS are. I'm based in the UK. I have more than enough of the qualifying lenses but would need to get hold of another camera body to qualify. I believe there used to be a FAQ on the CPS website, but I can't find it since it's changed to CPN.

I was wondering if it’s worth the cost of the 2nd body as I need some repairs doing and could do with getting my lenses and current body (1d mk2n) all calibrated (and the body serviced).

I was also wondering how long it generally takes for the membership to be setup.

Thanks.

Cheers,
Ben

If you do a "Advanced" forum KEYWORD search in "Search Titles Only" for CPS, you will find a lot of help. 2 pages of threads:

Thanks, gave that a go. Gleaned some info and got the rest of the details I wanted (except how long the application process takes) from web.archive.org, just put the old FAQ url in there et voila.

The link's http://web.archive.org …om/faq/view.do?catId=1002 (external link) if anyone's interested.

Cheers,
Ben
