Ok guys, here are a few from the last day at the festival. I'll get saturday samples up soon as well. I am not done with the PPing. Just done a bit of cropping and change of WB on one or two.

C&C welcome.

these are definitely the best photos you've posted, nicely done.

1 is a classic headshot, nicely done

3 has loads of energy, nice job w/ the jump capture and the multi-colored light sabers in the background

4 has loads of energy too, and i love the perspective of 6. good one.

narlus, you just blew me away with your comments. Thank you!

1 is heavily cropped. The dress she's wearing is very interesting but the shot wasn't. The crop made it better though. Thanks! Band was LaXuLa Spanish gypsy music. I grew up on it so it kind of brought me back to pre-school age.

3 was so dark I had to bump the exposure in LR quite a lot. I liked the energy but wasn't too happy with how it came out. Highlights blown etc. I feel I need to spend more time with it. Band in the picture (2 & 3) is Balkan Beat Box. Very very good.

4 is the one I wish the stage wasn't as high, I was closer and had a fish-eye on the camera. But it worked.

5 - this guy can seriously play the dhol. Have a few more of this pose with both arms up.

6 - I tried to capture the size of the instrument so when he snuck up to the edge of the stage, I wedged myself in between two stacks of subs and went as wide as I could. Again - wish I had a fish-eye.

7 - it's the shadow of his hand through the drumskin I like here. I know it is all wrong, really but it works for me.

4-7 are Afro Celtic Sound System

I'd have to rob a bank to go get all the CDs I want to buy after this festival.

Anyway - I'm still blown away by your comment. Thank you!

She

What a nice set of shots! Probably 4 is my favorite, the motion and energy are very appealing. Also like 5 and 6 a lot.

#5 and #6 are really nice even if they are "up the nostrils" shots.
