1 doesn't do it for me. Th rest do work very well though. The drummer shot is great.

And again, the headstock is out of focus ;-)a

(can you tell I'm a PRS fan?)

I really dig #8. Looks like there was some decent lighting at that venue (based off some of those shutter speeds). Good work.

The lighting was pretty tricky - most of those shots were taken with -2 EC which boosted the shutter speeds. Any less than -2 EC too many blown highlights.

Are you sure that's a PRS?

The body and dials look like one, but I've not seen a PRS headstock with that cut-away at the top end before...

The guitarist in my band is selling a PRS McCarty (tobacco sunburst) with vintage pickups at the moment too, if anyone's interested.... :)

p.s. Richard - nice shots!

I REALLY need a 24-70mm f2.8L... I found one on amazon.com in the states for around US$1,050 but its a matter of getting it here, paying GST, and transit insurance... not sure if after all that it'd be worth any potential saving...

It might look like a PRS guitar but I don't think it is - here is a closeup of the headstock see the DTM initials? Neil Fallon also plays a Gibson SG.

Apologies for focussing on the performer not the headstock! Hehehe!

It's a David Thomas McNaught guitar, based on the PRS shape... he's a luthier in Locust, NC.

So there you go :)

I love the creative blur in the drummer shot.

#1 doesn't do it for me, either, but #7 and #8 are killer ... love the blue in 8. Nice job.

The singer is such a small person for having that big voice.

Yeah, #1 not working for me either.

I like this set better than the first though.
