Just a friend's band in a small Pub in a small town. :p All shot with XT and 50mm 1.8. For this shoot I really tried to nail the focus. It's been a serious issue with most of my work to date but I'm happy with this latest effort.

They were a pretty laid back band so I had to get creative with my composition. It made nailing the focus easier though!

Love to hear what cha' think!

1. I know, I know, yawn....

Thanks She, that's alright you don't need a reason to like it. :)

I like the way the spot light in 1 & 2 looks like a UFO Tractor Beam zoneing in on them.

What cool shots!!

#2 is pretty cool... Maybe it's just cropped too tight... More head and face would be better for me...

Nice drummer pic in 5!

#2 is a little tight for me, but somehow still works i think.

Nice work.

Thanks guys. #2 was my attempt at some alternative composition. We see so many shots like all the others it kinda gets boring so I like to mix it up with some stuff that makes you go "hmmm, I just don't know about that one"

On a side note I'd like to post a few from a fan that had a P&S. I was stunned by how different the venue looked. Anyway interesting comparison with the same light different camera.
