Got talking to a few bands recently who invited me down to shoot them at a gig. Having never done low light none flash before I though I'd take up the challenge.

Comments most welcome......sorry for naff watermarks(edits I sent to bands)

Good Stuff, I especially like the lips pressed against the microphone. For some reason I've always thought a Microphone looked cool in photograph, just the way the screen gets a little washed out even though its still clear.

Got a good start, if that was your first time.

They look nice. A little small, please number them, and a less obtrusive watermark please.

I think #5 (B&W) is my favorite.

I really like 4, 5, & 6.

I echo what the others have said about the watermarks and size tho.

My only other comment is what is with your strange crops? Aspect ratio is all over the place, and no 1 has obviously been cropped after processing/watermarking. I might get flamed for this, but I always try to stick to crops that can be reproduced in print (eg 8x10, 4x6 etc), as often someone will ask for it. If it looks completely different from what they have seen on screen, then it can ruin the effect.

Just my 2c.

Nice pics though.

I like #2. #4 would have been very nice if a bit wider.
Agree on the aspect ratio and watermark.

Cheers for the comments

I did apologise in the initial post for the naff watermarks as these are low res samples for the bands. The reason some of the watermarks are cut off is I only used my large watermark on some pics. Should really have made a smaller one.

I agree on the aspect ratio, all the ones I sold were "regular" size crops.

Thanks for looking

Ian
