Bob's '73 Challenger has a 318cid motor & is virtually stock. He's has several Mopars over the years & this one has been in the family for 21 years.

Its Petty blue, & he drives it about 300 miles a year.

Nice, but I'm not really feeling the amber highbeams. Were those like a rare factory option or just plain aftermarket or what?

I have a Petty Blue '72 Duster 340. Needs some restoration, but it's been in the family since my dad bought it brand new.

My truck would be lucky to see that much over the last 4 or 5 years!

nice looking car, you'd think he'd take the time to clean up the carpet though

I don't remember them as options, but since yellow & blue are complementary colors, I kind of like them.
You should have seen the Lucas Flamethrowers I had in the grill of my '69 Cuda! People moved out of my way a half-mile ahead of me! :D

Good one! Don't make the mistake the rest of us have made & let it get away from you? ;)

So... you're one of those...? :D

not sure what you mean by "one of those" but I enter my truck in a show just about every weekend and I know that's the first thing most people will say when they see an interior covered in grass. The car is very nice, pics are very nice, but you can't help but look at the dirty carpet...

Not a chance!! Of the 7 cars that I can claim ownership to in the last 15 years, I've only gotten rid of 2. My truck and the Duster are the 2 main ones locked into my "no chance in Hell will I sell it" spots.

Thanks PhotosGuy for the Pics, I really appreciate them.

Amber Lights: Not an option, was an after market item, however in the ECE market it is standard.

300 Miles: Work, Family, Chores, and 4 months of good weather.

Dirty Carpet: Actually the Carpet is pretty mint, need to remember, the grass is fresh cut for the show, it rained, and it rained some more, so we were in and out of the car. I guess I forgot to bring my welcome mat to wipe my feet.

So anyone notice my Son? the Pekingese watching the Photographer

Thanks again PhotosGuy

I ask these guys to get a shot of the motor, & they say that it's filthy. I look at it & there's maybe 3 specks of dust on it. So, "One of those!" :D And, this wasn't like a big 300-car show. More like a informal weeknite "meet", where everyone knows everyone else.

"no chance in Hell will I sell it"

Good man! ;)

Thanks PhotosGuy for the Pics,

You're welcome. It's not like I have anything else to do? :D

Man, that takes me back....in the early 80's a Buddy of mine had a 72' (I think) Satelitte.....I called it The Stump Jumper...I thought that car was GREAT.
This one is really an awesome vehicle.
