I took these photos last fall on the "Pilot Butte Wild Horse Loop Tour" in southwestern Wyoming. For anyone driving between Denver and Yellowstone National Park I strongly recommend taking this short detour near Rock Springs. If you are interested in learning more about this location you can read my article at: http://fishscentedfur.com/?p=38 (external link) You can see all my Pilot Butte Photos here: http://www.pbase.com …es_of_pilot_butte_wyoming (external link)

Hope you enjoy these photos.

Thanks for looking. Let me know what you think.

Thanks, glad you like my photos. I don't understand why pilot butte isn't a more popular spot for wildlife photography. It's close to Yellowstone National Park. Maybe with a little bit of internet buzz more people will stop in to visit on there drive to Yellowstone.

Very nice. I used to live in Green River, I know about the wonderful photo ops around the area.

Is it hard to spot the wild horses? I've heard of this spot but wonder how hard it is to see the horses. This would be wonderful to see them.
