Hey, you talking about my love handles?;) ;) ;)

I don't do much shooting in Manhattan. Sometimes I go out shooting with my co-workers to Central Park which is a few blocks away.

Now that it's warm outside, there are lots of interesting stuff to shoot...I can definitely see the possibilities, even though I'm not really a big "urban" shooter!

Andrew (Miyagi-san), thanks! Been quite a while since I saw your work, post some soon.

Tom, Nick, we'll have a meet this summer I hope. Perhaps at the Mermaid Parade at Coney Island on the 23rd. I'll see if I can clear my schedule for that.

To the others, I just posted a Pano shot, check it out at the original post, or check it out here (external link) :) Thanks!

The fact that someone noticed that means more than you might think it does...really!

Yeah I've been VERY busy lately which is a good and bad thing. The good is that our first baby is on the way (any day now!) and Heather and I have been spending a lot of our free time (not much lately) getting ready for that...

and the part that's not so good is that I've been working about 80 hours a week nightshift now so that's been very taxing lately....during the work week it's literally wake up go to work, get home from work shower and go to sleep...

hopefully after about a month we'll be going from 5 days on, 2 days off to 4 days on, 3 days off so hopefully that will help.

A pity too, because I JUST got my sigma 30 in the other day and it's been sitting around not even being used!

bleh, anyway, thanks again for noticing....it actually really does mean a lot :p

Dave, thanks, that pano shot gave me a hard time. Not only was there more work to do, but it was also difficult to load it onto my photo site because of the large file. Thanks again!

Andrew, 80 hour week? Man, when that baby comes you'll lose even more sleep! Congratulations to you and Heather, I am sure that all hardships will be worth it when you experience the joy your child will give you. The moment my son was born, I count that as one of the best moments of my life. Be sure to take lots of pictures! Forget about the street shots, just keep us posted on your baby's arrival :)

Cheers Smdevo, it does look better. It's hard to manage panos though, difficult to save and print. It does show the whole picture, so to speak - an additional story develops at the left side of the cafe, with a group of wet-shirted guys engaged in conversation. I think the bike at the right balances the red Coke sign on the left nicely too. Thanks fro viewing!

Thanks cocheese. I like the way it turned out too. Truth be told, I have a lot of photos in my archives that I took with the intent of stitching them into a panorama, but never got around to it. I'll do some digging when I have time.
