She was hanging around today with her 3 cubs and decided to climb over the fence and feast on the bird food I put out. Hope you enjoy the shots.

A bear did this to the bird feeder at my parent's house a few years ago. But we live in the northern half of the lower peninsula of Michigan so maybe it isn't shocking.

Great opportune capture... It's not that often that you can get a pic of them...

I have the bears come through here and had to take the feeders down till next winter... they break off the tree branches to get at the feeders here.

Off Topic: I lived and worked on a project at VernonValley/GreatGorge back in 1994-95, and back in 1976 at the Playboy Club... Sussex Co. is a beautiful area...

Is this the same bear that last night was shot in Sussex with three cubs?

You may not have bears there, but Australia sure has some deadly creatures, mostly snakes I guess...

Nice shot of a mother bear, and I worry about squirrels in my bird feeders! Yikes!

It definitely is very cute but they can tear up things I hear. I live in a subdivision and get squirrels, opossums, raccoons, and other critters, especially at night, but no bears. I've been wondering about a trip of some sort to trigger my camera. Main problem is leaving my camera out there in the dew. I really don't want to do that!
