Were the bears about to kill a family? Even so .. errr, darts with meds? I dunno .. so I ask .. umm, I never read or heard about this! The mother bear was shot because she was trying to break into a house. The 3 cubs were darted and taken to a wildlife rehabilitator. The cubs will stay there until they are old enough to be released back to the wild. Lava
