This is not the bear that was shot in Sussex with the three cubs. There are a lot of bears and their cubs here this time of the year.

They actually shot a bear .. and her 3 cubs? Wait .. what? Dead? Killed um and everythng?
OMG ! Was it an act of saving someone's life? Were the bears about to kill a family?

Even so .. errr, darts with meds? I dunno .. so I ask .. umm, I never read or heard about this!

The mother bear was shot because she was trying to break into a house. The 3 cubs were darted and taken to a wildlife rehabilitator. The cubs will stay there until they are old enough to be released back to the wild.

Awww .. owell .. atleast her cubs were spared ..
Shoot a human for breaking and trying to enter .. and .. well .. you could go to jail!
But a bear? .. grrr ..

Sad there wasn't a better option .. then again .. I was'nt there .. so,
I can't say ..
