I'd give Fixation a ring 02075 823 294
They're authorised Canon repairers and should be able to get it. I've no idea of cost though but wouldn't expect it to cost a fortune.

cheers

phoned Canon and was given a spare parts number to phone - £15!!!! (minimum spare parts order charge). Makes my new tyres for my Gti seem a bargain.
I hope I can find one somewhere else.

My used 1Dmk3 didn't come with one...so I've been using the USB screw thing, but time to get it replaced!

Called Canon Canada parts department, and the lady on the phone said that it would be cheaper to get a store (she recommended London Drugs) to order it for me - they wanted $2 for the part and $11 shipping (to BC).

Called LD and they are happy to order the part, so I'll be heading down to my local store tomorrow to order ;)

For what it's worth, I just got off the phone with Canon and they are sending me out 1 at no charge.

You lucky guys! If you decide to buy and use the Wireless device that plugs in there, at least you will be able to. I've never been able to get that damn cover off since buying the body! Maybe the last owner superglued it?
