Fishing Crane

So about 2 weeks ago went I rented the 100-400L I figured I'd go down to the dyke to take some pictures.

I lucked out one day, and was able to watch a crane (probably wrong name for the bird), doing some fishin on his own.

I watched for about a good 30 mins, before I went on my way. I a few of the shots were cropped closer. Not something I do often, but I wanted to show a bit more detail in the 'catch'.

Nice pictures. Greater blue heron is the name, but they were commonly called fishing cranes where I grew up and so that is what I called them most of my life.

I like #3 the best. The blurred background on #1 is really distracting and it would be best to just crop it out. I took some pictures of a GBH a couple weeks ago, but they were not as sharp as yours.
