so today I was takin macros of my fish.\ i first used my sigma 150 (both normal and AI servo mode) and then I put on my mpe-65 and took manual macro shots. I then shut off everything for a while, came back not too later to take pictures of my wife using the 35L, while taking pictures of her I attempted to take some pictures of my aquarium , first in normal then ai servo, then suddenly the focus went dead.
It keeps blinking (the dot), it understands if ive focused because I can manually focus on something and then when i hit focus, the dot then turns solid. Or I can hold the focus button and then turn the focus ring on the lens till it "captures focus"but it will not AF.

I have turned off the camera, removed the lens, cleaned the contacts (on lens) with microfibre cloth, made sure it was in AF not manual mode and tried again. Nothing! I tried the sigma 150 again and the 135L, both work.

Problem is Canon UAE has internal problems, they break your stuff instead of fixing it (Canon middle east HQ are aware of it) so that means I need to ship my lens to Holland.
Im hoping for a quick fix or a "Reset lens" solution.
