DPP ?

I recently received my Mark III. For years I used Pixmantec raw shooter as my convertor because I felt combfortable and liked the results. It does not support the MK III files so I guess I will have to be a DPP convert. I can't seem to figure out how to open a particular file and then scroll / advance to the next w/o closing the photo that is already opened.

If you discover how to do that - please post it. It's one of the most irritating things about the product.

Select all files in the Main Window. Then click Cmd+right arrow. This will take you to the Edit Window. (Cmd+Left arrow takes you back).
In the Edit window, use Cmd+Up/down arrow.
Cmd+ 1/2/3/4 switches between 50%/100%/200%/Fit to screen view...

Thanks, I figured there had to be a way.

I don't have a Mac so the ctrl key is used on a PC.

took me a while to figure this out as well.

What irritates me is that you cannot delete the file from disk from the edit window (at least I think you can't). If you come across a picture that you don't like I would like to be able to right click and delete, not just delete from list.

Not sure if you can do that or not (been awhile.)

But you could go through with the quick check tool before editing, and rate all your "trash" images with one checkmark, then delete then sort by check mark, and delete all at once.

-also, may be able to rate while in edit mode.

ya, i use the checkmark thing to tag the photos i want to delete but then you have to go back to the main window, select the checked ones and delete - it is just an extra step - and on occasion i have forgot to delete them before i batch process them, or i have tagged the keepers then deleted the wrong ones - i think i like how camera raw does it1
