Have seen them before, great show. First time taking pics at an outdoor nighttime event. Everyone was using flash on their PnS cameras, and the band did,t seem to mind but it was a distraction.

It would also benefit from a crop IMO. Thanks Rene. I was going to crop the guitarist a little closer, but didn't want to lose any of the guitar. They had a strobe firing on the drummer, and I just fired off a burst and lucked out with the light.

I was going to wait until a 30D successor came out to upgrade, but since the 1D MarkIII came out, there are quite a few 1D MarkII's on the market. I had a chance to to pick up a Sigma 28 - 70mm f/2.8 for $225 last week and passed (Arghhhhh).
