New to Lightroom... jpeg export question

I just got lightroom, and I loved it....

my question is how do you export it to jpeg with 1:1 scale?

I've been exporting the RAW to JPEG, but for some reason it changed the resolution. RAW was about 3500 but when I export it to JPEG it went down to 2200... (I don't have the file with me right now, but these are just an approximation of the width only)
I didn't have the limit option on... is there some options that I have to turn on... thanks

If you don't have the constrain box checked then one must assume that you cropped your image during editing. Otherwise you should get an image that is the same size (pixels) as the original.

here is the thing, I export the image in lightroom to jpeg it changed the size.... but I edit the same pictures in CS2 and export to jpeg it retain the same size... just weird... when i get home I will check and try again and see what happen...

I assume you are talking about the actual quoted physical size of the image rather than the pixel dimension.

Make sure you dont have the Constrain Maximum Size box ticked in the export dialogue as noted above.

You also need to clear the pixels per inch box or LR will re-size the phsical size of the image to suit this. It does not really matter that much as you are not loosing information.
