Looks like brood13 has finally awoken from it's 17 year vacation and its party time. These little buggers are singing up a storm and dive bombing everyone in sight. Keep the kids away, these sailors been away a long time and they are looking to p.a.r.t.y. :)

Thanx, and they sure are noisy. We also have two kinds. These with the red eyes are smaller and the 17 year kind. We also have these bigger ones with black eyes and they show up by ones and twos. We were in a woods tonight with tens of thousands. It was very cool.

They aren't as loud as our Aussie Cicadas, they're the loudest in the world (matches many Aussies I'm afraid lol). Good shots, looks like a Black Prince.
