Drove up the coast last weekend and stopped to take some pictures before the sun set. What can I do to make the picture pop more? Tips?
Was taken with a rebel xt and kit lens.

heres my take of the first one. it was hard cuz of the noise on the car doors. but fun to try. what i did was adjust layers, then layer back in the original background. then sharpened it a bit with high pass filter. then some burning and dodging to try get some contrast. didnt take too long but would have been easier to reshoot using some flash next time. http://onehourwedding.blogspot.com/

Howzitboy and Beau..I've got to say I'm very impressed. If I shot in similiar settings next time, what should I change? Would a flash be more of a hinderance?
