Here's one I shot today with the 1D and 100mm Macro.

1/1000 @ f/4, ISO1600

It's not quite perfect, but it came out ok in my opinion.

Well......Just got my (used) mk3 today, so far so good....After having 2 from before the fix, this one seems a little more tame already.....Haven't tried servo yet...Very nice to have so many AF points to choose from again:)
Thought I'd be a bit bummed at the MP count, being as I came from a 1Dsmk2 to a 5Dmk2 and now 10mp's in the 1Dmk3, but actually, it's nice...Images load fast and they images look great!

I immediately threw the 35L on it as that is the one lens that didn't get along with my last 1Dmk3.....worked brilliantly

It's kinda nice to be shooting a machine gun again:)
Cheers all, wish me luck!

Good luck!!! i threw on my Sigmalux w/ my 1D.. so far so good, but I think i'm getting some front focus.. however at f2.5 onwards its perfect.. when I micro adjust, f2.5 on wards becomes bit back focused...

I recall you're a Sigmalux guy.. along w/ the hoff!

For those that have the 70-200 2.8 IS, how does it do on your camera. I've read a few posts that this lens doesn't play nice with the 1diii. Mine isn't as sharp as I would like it to be. If possible, please post some pics of the combo.

First try with my new (used) 1Dmk3 and Sigmalux...This shot is at f2 and ISO 1600 (tough to find a duck this late, in my house)

It's awesome, but haven't got any pics to post as I'm on the other side of the country from my catalog.

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

Same here. Should be here tomorrow! Can't wait to test it out with the 1DIII.
