6400 ISO shot in AV f/4 with 17-40mm f/4L. I was too lazy to switch lenses lol. But noise quality was superb! This image is cropped slightly.

they said EX+ condition but it looks very clean except for some scuffing around the bottom and the lower shutter button.

Sweet...welcome to the club.

I picked up one of my bodies with 3,850 actuations on FM for about the same price. It was sold to someone else; he kept it for two weeks then resold it at a loss. Pics here: http://www.fredmiranda.com …44601/0?keyword=x#7875979 (external link)

Thanks tony, good to hear reassuring words. I sold my 50d and a ton of random possessions to get it. Hoping this and my 5d will cover pretty much everything.

Think I got in at a good price point too. I was eyeballing these last year when they were around $3k-3.5k. Just couldn't do it, but they sure did tank.

Get ready...

...This "tanking" will quickly exhaust the offer-side of the market (it is in high-demand, sort of a "gold rush").

Once it's over, and everybody's hunger has been satisfactorily taken care of (which is today's reality), prices will (invevitably) go up, again (not sure how much, though)... This is due, in part, to the price-ticket of the 1D4, combined with its not-so-amazing improvement over the 1D3, in the IQ department and others.

Amazingly, you can still find it NEW at close to $3,800.00 (!)

The "too much cam, for too little" will not last long. :D

Cheers,

PIX
