i am going to shoot motorbike racing , any help on settings would be great , . thanks in advance

I'd recommend testing the AF thoroughly. Also I find the colours on the 1dmk3 to look much better after using xrite color passport. The image will look more true to color. I find the colours to be quite inaccurate with 1dmk3 in the raw form.

I started to use the xrite more now with the 1dmk3 because I find less time playing with colour saturation especially when I'm dealing with skin tones.

I see in the 1dmk3 thread the yellowish over exposed blowouts. This to me creates a pain when your dealing with skin tones.

You may find spot metering your best friend. When I use strobes/speedlights in modifiers I like the 1dmk3 but when it comes to natural light photos spot metering gives me the best in landing more accurate exposures.

acui1 Ive found these to help quite a bit. Still have to play with your AF but ive found that the racing setting by Graham to work pretty well.
