Especially getting the eyes of the driver through the helmet... that makes the shot for me..

I can't come close to the Wow! factor of Gadget Guy's shot just above, which is terrific, but here's my effort with 1D3, 100-400 and Kenko 1.4X, shot through fencing....

Hey tdodd, you have the Wow! factor too... not your fault the rider's helmet has tinted glass. If not you would have gotten his eyes. Very well done as well!

Hey fellow 1d3 shooters! I was wondering if anyone knew where PIXmantra is nowadays ( he hasn't posted since March 25th). I was interested in using his FlexNR, but I can't seem to contact him. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate it if you'd send me a PM pointing me in the right direction. Thank you very much and keep on shooting

Thanks. Kind of you to say. But I had to work the old sharpening pretty hard in Lightroom to get to that, and still it doesn't have the crispness and punch that GG has achieved. I don't shoot motorsport very often, so I'll just carry on trying my best when I get the chance. I'm sure there's room to improve.

Let us know if/when you hear from him, I'd be interested in the software also.

Thanks for the responses guys, but still not word back from him I haven't tried contacting his e-mail listed as the PayPal email (feharmat@hotmail.com)​, but I did e-mail him through another e-mail he provided in page 4 of that thread. I will definitely let you guys know when he responds, but until then I might have to play the waiting game :/
