Does the 1D3 focus better in low light than the 5D2 or the 7D? Of course the 1D3 focuses much faster overall than the 5D2. Just wondering it's performance when available is poor.

I'm still needing a back up camera to 5D2 for weddings. my 5D2 hunts like crazy in low light

Also, having only 10MP in the 1D3 wouldn't bother me since for events/weddings I use sRAW files in my 5D2 which are about 10MP anyway...

I've had my 1DIII for about a month now. The only time I've touched my 7D was when I took it out of my camera bag and put it in the closet. The focus is amazing in all light conditions. I still use the 5DII a lot but for any type of action, it's the 1DIII without question.

I've heard on POTN that the 1D3 is one of the all-time best at low-light AF. Not many comparisons from me, but it kills my T2i.

I was shooting the along with the 5D3 for weddings until last week when my second 5D3 arrived. Shooting 2 FF cameras is nice as your lenses match each other. However, I do miss its snappy focus, locking ability in low light and that 10 FPS when I gun it. Of course, I also miss that shutter sound haha...

I may pull it back out for some cameo shots for this weekend's wedding.

So my body is starting to have AF issues, I dont think that it has ever had the AF issues fixed on it as it dosent have the blue dot showing that its been done. I am going to send it in to CPS on Monday for a clean and check. But does anybody know will Canon still do the AF fix for free?

I don't post many pics, thinking I'm not as worthy as the rest of you, you guys are great... but here's a shot from a college game I shot today. And since my 1D3 is throwing ERR 99 again, even after Canon "fixed" it last month, not sure how long it'll be around...
