Does it auto focus? does anyone have any images, thinking of getting the TC so I dont have to cart my 100-400L around all the time I'm new to the 1D3. I was testing today with with a 200 2.8II and a 2xTCIII. Everything worked great. AF was quick and image quality was good.

Jun 08, 2013 08:39 | #7302 Cliff, glad you got the mkIII, verry nice for the first shots with a new camera. Starlings in flight are not that easy. Not all of these cameras had focusing problems, and many of the ones that did have been fixed. Once you get familiar with the camera, spend some time to really microadjust your lenses, every lens and lens+extender will be different.
