Whenever I'm out shooting with my 1D Mark III people comment "oh, you've got the sports camera". While the autofocus in this camera is outstanding at capturing moving objects (if you have it setup correctly) I shoot a lot of stills and landscape because I love the color it produces. Here is a shot of urban art I took recently that makes the point.

a butterfly at rest ,1Dmkiii + 400mm f5.6 handheld .did a micro adjust a couple of weeks ago and very impressed with the performance now .

Just a quickie shot of my new to me 1D3. The seller said "some signs of use" but I can't find a mark on it. :D The two batteries it came with are dead so I have to wait for a charger to show up before I can test it. :cry:

Congrats! Too bad it didn't come with the original charger. That's a painful bit to buy.
