my new toy ,sigma 150-600mm os sport ,heavy but superb i/q .sods law we have been under freezing fog here for the last 3 days so waiting to give it a proper test .

Have to compliment all of you; some amazing shots here. So much so that I was ready to pull the trigger on a mk iii then noticed that a majority of you are using 400mm and up and often extenders also. Is this body used mainly for tripod shooting with a large lens? Biggest thing in my arsenal is a 70-300L and 90% of my shooting is handheld. Should I be looking at something else? I currently have a 5D and will keep it as the IQ is excellent.

I rented the 300L and it was a good balance on the camera.
