recently moved near a track so i thought i would give it a go

it was suggested to me that I might have a slight front focus issue with my lens on this body ,so I did a micro adjust last night and got it to +8 .took a few test shots today and pleased with the results as below, the eye detail in both shots being far better

happy new year to all friends world wide . have a happy and prosperous 2018 , I made a good start yesterday just got a sigma 150mm o.s macro this was taken with it last night

Anyone ever used a microSD with adapter?

Yes, but only as a last resort. Card reader started to not recognize it after a couple of uses. No problem in camera though, up to that point.

Glad to see this thread is still alive. While out today with the III, I noticed that when I pressed the joystick to alternate between 2 focus points, the camera switched just fine yet it didn't autofocus. I haven't used the camera much lately so I'm no sure when this stopped working. Does anyone know if a setting is out of whack? I could sure use some help with this.

*edit* Issue resolved-sort of. Using 19 focus points, it doesn't work. Using 9, whether they're the inner or the outer, everything works as it should. Why? Nobody really knows.

not posted for a while ,my sigma 150-600 sport did turn out to have definition issues ,and theres me blaming the cameras .its now in Japan having a holiday and fix while its there going to be a few weeks yet till it returns ,in the meantime over xmas I bought a sigma 150mm o.s macro on e.bay basically working but with problems .got it at a very good price which made a fix by sigma a viable option .it came back two days ago new a/f motor ,new image stabiliser ,and new outer barrel plus tune up and checked out . first chance to play with it yesterday when a goldfinch stunned itself on my window .after rescuing it I put it on the cherry tree and grabbed the camera for some close ups ..it then flew off to join the flock

I've got a MicroSD with SD + CF adapter permanently in. Been like that for almost a year with no issues at all.

Yeah, when I switched to a 32gb microSD it worked... Apparently it doesn't like 128-256gb microSD, even after formatting to FAT32.
