She may have ball control issues using that current technique.

She plays with her eyes closed

Loving those shots, Chet. So much clarity in them.

Thank you, Levina. I usually do go overboard on the processing. Love this camera, though I look for deals on low mileage 1div's daily. I don't get out and use my camera enough though, so I can't really justify spending money on another body. I did purchase a Denny's Freedom cloth back drop to do a couple family portraits, including my own. Also have a wedding in September. I hate doing weddings.

I think the processing on these is just right, Chet.

As to the 1D4, it's a great camera and for me the extra resolution is nice as I can crop a bit more. But for other uses, such as portraits, family stuff, I don't know, there's not much need to upgrade, I don't think. The 1D3 really is a great camera.

Extra Resolution is nice. AF is better, though I must say the 1d3 almost never misses. And from what I can see the DR is better. Also auto iso works better on the 1d4 and has more options for button customization. They are hoovering right at the $1000 mark, though I saw one today go for $675, but looked beat up.

Loving all the contributions lately!

AF and more resolution were my reasons to upgrade. I don't use auto iso and never worried about DR. Different photographers, different needs, eh?

Thanks, there hasn't been a season where i haven't planned to replace my mk3 (11 years now) but when it keeps churning out stuff like this (hail and snow @ 0 degrees) i just can't see the point
