USing FD lenses on an EF body

I have the canon digital rebel 300d and I noticed that fd lenses are much less money, has anyone ever used fd lenses on an ef body via an adapter?? thanks

Read the thread adblink posted and you will understand the following:

1) It's possible but
2) Not cheap to get the right coverter than gives you any kind of IQ and (for most folks)
3) Not really worth it.
