Are there other phones that incorporate this? I'm referring to data transmission, and yes there are phones that do that regarding data. Hmmm. wonder if Vista is the problem? Then they shouldn't advertise it as being a release for XP and Vista. Even with it being beta, they should know what platforms it will run on.

Of course with no way to remotely disable the phone, not many businesses will take it very seriously regardless of what else it offers. Well, I guess we'll have to wait for a couple of more weeks to see what it has. No one, not even the sources you are using, really knows anything about the iPhone. Indeed, it seems there's an active FUD campaing going on. I guess that means a lot of phone makers and service providers are really, really nervous about the iPhone. Besides, its target audience seems to be the consumer market (not that businesses won't use it, too). Then they shouldn't advertise it as being a release for XP and Vista. Even with it being beta, they should know what platforms it will run on. Well, it works on some Vista and XP machines, but not others. That seems to suggest that it's machine-dependent and not OS-dependent. "Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

No doubt. These Safari vulnerabilities (which have already been fixed by Apple) were attributed to David Maynor, who is famous for announcing to the world that he had broken into a Mac wirelessly. A few days later he had to fess up to his deception; he used a third-party wireless card that had a vulnerability in it. He sure didn't break in through Apple's AirPort card. This guy is almost as anti-Mac as Paul Thurrott; except Thurrott, at least, is willing to admit that OS X is more secure than XP. No one, not even the sources you are using, really knows anything about the iPhone. We know what has been released, and that the AT&T Edge network it will run over is slower than other available options. My source for that is Apple themselves. Indeed, it seems there's an active FUD campaing going on. I guess that means a lot of phone makers and service providers are really, really nervous about the iPhone. RIM/Blackberry have very little to worry about, as the Blackberry market is well integrated with businesses. Some smaller companies may, but not that camp. I love fanboy threads. I think if I spend much more time in here I might develop a habit for Grape Flavor-Aid and Jonestown nostalgia...
