Took this a few weeks ago, I liked the warm afternoon sunlight that was falling onto the wooden pole. Wasn't sure whether to post in here, or landscape/cityscape.

Great shot Dave! I agree, the warmth of the sky geos well with the subject.

But what are you doing posting outside of the Macro forum? For shame... ;)

I do occasionally try my hand at portraits, still lives, experimental b/w, landscapes/cityscapes and birds (the feathered kind). :)

Well done. I'll have to post the one I took last weekend.

actually I just looked at mine and it sucks so won't post it. :) I may go back and shoot it again though, it's a good subject.
