Okay guys, im leaving for alaska in the morning, and wouldnt you know it but my stupid polarizer is stuck to my 24-105. obviously with the circumstances as they are i cant order up a filter wrench set, and i need immediate assistance.

Try the rubber band around the filter edge trick...it worked for me...gives you a much better grip. Jim -- I keep the Leica D-Lux 7 in the Glove Box just in case!

Hopefully this will allow you to turn the filter threads as well as the rotating ring. Polarizers can be difficult. I'm just a simple maker of love charms and tokens,who occasionally takes a picture or two.

Try to blow some compressed air around it, vice it, use a pipe wrench (or channel lock pliers) after you've wrapped it in a rubber band, the lens, that is. Use extreme caution.
