Living in California for a paintball photographer gets you spoiled from time to time. This weekend I had the opertunity to shoot some of the top teams in the world prepairing for an upcoming event. Thank you for taking the time to view my shots, comments welcome. For more images from the weekend link (external link).

Greetings Mike,
Your photography keeps getting better and better….amazing shots as always. I was somewhat surprised not to see your logo. Are you going to Bear’s Cup? I plan to use that event as a final tune up for the PSP Chicago Open.
If we keep posting our pictures here no one will ever need to buy Pb2X Magazine again

Hey Michael, great shots. This is Matt Holland, your roomate from the NCPA Champs. Did you end up writing the story on it for PB2X? I think John said it was coming out in the August issue. Speaking of the August issue, I got my first cover from Oklahoma D-Day!

EDIT: I assume you and Gary will be in Chicago, have fun without me!

Thanks Gary and Matt, I do not shoot PSP events(they want to charge me to cover the event) so I will not be attending the Chicago event.

Matt, the Texas event was not planned to be covered by PB2X so they did not alott space for the artical in this months issue. I would imagine that it will be in the upcoming issue along with the San Bernardino XPSL event (I also wrote the story) and the NPPL Tampa event (I can't wait to see what they use because I took a ton of killer shots at that event).

Man you and Gary both got covers for senario events (Congrats!) I am going to have to start covering those to increase my chances. It took me over three years to get my first cover.

Michael

Yeah, I forgot about the PSP thing. Scenario events can be pretty cool, but the action is way less centralized. The D-Day field was 710 acres of rocky hills and woods...

Yes, Kat, Gary (I think) and myself will be in Boston for the NPPL event. I feel kinda strange these days having so much time between events now that I don't shoot the PSP events. I got used to living my weekends in hotel rooms.

Michael, you are posting pictures every weekend on your site I do not know how you do this and you say that you have too much time between events! I can’t keep up lol

You should try to fit in Bear’s Cup this weekend at HSP. It is a typical fun event full of cheating, lying, late starts, bad calls, poorly maintained filthy fields, overt favoritism and broken compressors…what else would you expect

Well, I guess it can't be much worse than the cage fights I will be shooting at the end of July! Makes me wonder what all the poor folks are doing, eh?:lol::lol:
