Can anyone recommend a good tutorial or technic for removing sheen (make-up or perspiration shine) from portraits? These highly reflective skin surfaces are getting me down.

In PS I use clone tool/clone stamp/patch tool, on a layer, which I often reduce the opacity of so you can still see a little bit of the shine. Just did two that way today.
