I like the color of the bokeh in this one. It compliments the duck nicely!

A nice pose and there's surely enough pop, but the breast looks a little blown to me on this monitor.

Nice duck for sure....but beware, renting that 100-400 may ultimately prove to be a very expensive exercise for you :D :D

Thanks everyone for your comments! Yeah he was there for a while, but every foot I took closer, he was slowly making his way for the water. There was actually 3 of them perched up on that rock.

Sugarzebra: I agree. I had way too much fun with that lens for the week I had it. Def on the 'to be purchased' list.

themtkid: It was edited in lightroom first (with a small amount of crop, as the other ducks tail was in the picture slightly). I then took it over PS and applied some USM to it. When I get home tonight from work, I'll post the original.
