Every industry has "words to live by." Which ones can we come up with for photography (and related subjects, however peripheral)?

I'll start.

If you use a rangefinder or viewfinder camera, you must always remember two extremely important words...

If you don't option your camera to warn you of this fact:
"Insert CF/SD card"

You are your own worst critic. Get an outside opinion from some one you trust.

Note: This should also apply to "Idol" applicants only it would read "You have no clue how bad you sound, get an opinion from someone who would tell you the truth" :-/

Stop chimping, shoot in RAW, learn from your mistakes when you get home. Cause when you miss the shot or catch it too late, it really is too late!
