Just wondering if you think this is an interesting enough shot or if the length is too tight.

I like the colour and the texture. What do you think?

Nice soft colours, which are in harmony with the building.

Top Picture.

Would defo recommend it willy b. A good zoom is highly recommend by me to pick out the details in buildings, interest in landscapes and candid shots of the classical Italian. Oh and take your camera EVERYWHERE! I used my 17-40 and 70-200 the most.

I missed the classical shot of them sitting down in a row watching the world go by!

Oh, another piece of advice, get up early and go out if you want to shoot urban scenes with italians. The tourists seem to mostly head out around midday :-)

Traveling advice in Italy:

DO NOT trust any transportation apart from the "official" taxi driver or buses and trains.

If you hire a car, drive like an F1 Pro and hit all the apexes :-) Use all your mirrors, check four or five times and remember, they drive like this all the time so have some better skill than you :-)

Validate your tickets (train and bus) BEFORE you travel otherwise you end up paying a fine like we did once" To validate, get it stamped by a machine near the pickup point.

If traveling around the southern area, boats leave early in the morning and return late afternoon. Usually only one schedule. We missed Capri because of this!

Try and find out the local delicacies and TRY THEM! If you like red wine, like me, Tuscany is the best. And Chianti is what I only had.

Book the next day off if you start downing shots of Limoncello's!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

Italians are really nice people, get to know your local bar owner :-)

BOOBS, boobs, boobs! All over the place in the advertising. Sorry, I couldn't help noticing it ;-)a

Oh ladies, forgive your mans wandering eyes! The italian women know how to look to impress and are very beautiful!

I like the color and the texture, as for the composition, it feels either not tight enough or not wide enough.

I like the texture and color as well. Any reason why you didn't include at least the rest of the quaint door frame?
