After a ton of whining, I will get my camera tomorrow from CDW! This is after I find one at Norman Camera for Friday. If you are still waiting, they are flowing into the system now just like Jim D. said they would! What a great Memorial Day Weekend this will be. Thanks to all of you for putting up with my B*t*hi*g for the last month. Special Thanks to Jim and Jon for pointing me in the right directions. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!!

Mills: Congrats!!! That is great news. I went through the same thing and it sucks. I'm happy I could help you find one.

Congrats Mills! :) ... soooooo If someone wants one quickly... they should call Norman's Camera immediately ehhhh! ! ! !

Mine arrives around 10:32AM EST tomorrow (Thursday). I'll be waiting at my companies receiving dock to grab it out of the hands of the FedX guy's.

I've been cycling my spare battery for the last two days awaiting the mkII's arrrival!

I'm not TOOOO insane!

That reminds me. I had better find the threads on battery prep so I can get off on the right foot. This is one of the reasons I love this Forum. It is a wonderful tool for learning.

Charge/refresh

Charge/refresh

It's not life and death of you use a battery in between that time for a shoot, just as long as it goes through the obligatory refresh stage three times. That is from Chuck Westfall at Canon.

Label your batteries and rotate them on a regular basis. Refresh once a month or so (regular schedule) or every 10 charges. I made labels for my batteries so I can mark off how many charges they have had.
