I am planning on getting something to let me dabble in macro a little bit.
I've decided the 250D and 500D closeup lenses look like the way to go.

What combo of either one of those combined with one of my lenses work best?

250D or 500D

with

50mm F1.8 II
85mm F1.8
70-200mm F4L

TIA
:)

here is what canon says about closeup lenses :

The 250D/500D series incorporates double-element achromatic design for maximum optical performance while the 500 series features single-element construction for maximum economy. The 250D is optimized for lenses between 50-135mm, while the 500D works best with telephoto lense from 70-300mm. Manual focusing is recommended.

Hope this helps,
