Nope, no pics yet...

...with the new camera anyway. I shopped on impulse tonight and bought a 30D. I have 4 shoots between Thurs and Sun, guess I need to read up on some instructions. (I know it's a guy thing and we don't do that, so don't tell anyone!)

Canon 30D - Tamron f/2.8 28-75 - Canon 50mm f/1.4 - 85mm f/1.8 - Canon 70-200 f/4 - Canon 430ex - Slik Pro 330dx Legs - Slik Ball Head 800 - Vivitar, Novatron, Alienbee And a partridge in a pear tree

Forget the instructions, go out and shoot!

It will teach you 1000 more lessons than the manual.

Congrats on the purchase.

First lesson is to learn to active 3200 ISO in custom functions. :-) The basic functionality is very similar to teh Rebel so you won;t have any problems I don't think.

I just made my boss get a 30D rather than an XTi ... there can be no excuses now ... for him or you!
