This was a snap that I took of a local artist shooting a video. He said his favorite part about being in that area of town that day was being able to do something so the kids could have some fun.

This was shot in not the greatest section of town to hang out. But everything was gravy that day. The only real excitement was one woman threatening to beat up another woman for driving too fast around her kids.

Great photo. I can't tell who he is from this photo, though. Who is it? I want to be watching for his video:)

...But still the clever north wind was not satisfied. It spoke to her of towns yet to be visited, friends yet to be discovered...

The big guy in the green shirt and black hat in the middle of all the kids. His name is Marcus Teller. He's a new artist, so I doubt this will see play on any major channels or networks, just kind of a promotional thing that's going to get put out on some DVD's for shows and stuff.

Good capture, with a wide range of expressions. What are they looking at? Maybe part of the video being shot? One caveat though, I wish the feet weren't cropped at the foreground.

They're looking at the camera. The feet are cropped so I could completely remove the camera guy. It's just a snap and where I was shooting from wasn't ideal because of all the people watching from the background.

It's cool man, it's a good capture of a spur of the moment. I understand about un-ideal conditions, street photography and photojournalism is rather rife with it, resulting in technically imperfect photos. It's all in the capturing the moment, and you did it well. love those expressions!
