I'm curious, why would you want to keep v6.0 & CS2? You could transfer all your profiles, textures, actions, etc into CS3 and regain HD space by uninstalling the older versions of PS...
Well, for brevity of the original post I chose not to explain. However, you asked. I have some filters/plugins installed in v6 that I never could get CS2 to see or properly execute. I have tried many things for years and never could. So that's why v6 stays.
As for CS2, unfortunately, I have no time to spare right now for CS3 learning curves. I need CS2 to remain because I am proficient with it and need to be able to get in, do something, and get out. I want CS3 installed so as I find time, I can begin to train myself on some of the new features.
The ACR/Lightroom scenario is the same. Need ACR for trusted quick work, and Lightroom to learn it as time allows. /Dan
