Is there a way to add my electronic signature to a whole batch of pictures at once? If so how can I do it?

What do you mean by electronic signature? A watermark or info in the metadata?

OK. You can do some watermarking in the Web module I believe and possibly the print module but I don't use that feature so not sure. Otherwise you have to use Photoshop or some other software.

Open one image in Photoshop and create an action for your watermark. Save the action, then go to Batch Processing --> locate the folder with all the images to proces --> select the new action you just created --> create a new "output to" folder.

Let photoshop do all the work...if you have trouble in Lightroom.

I use the method explained in this tutorial from Russell Brown. I've made some changes to customize it to my liking but it works great. You can apply it one image at a time or you can just run the action via the image processor and do a whole bunch of them at once.

You can add your name to any image when exporting in LR. Cant even remember how to set it up in the first place, but mine does it when I check the box in the export options.

IT will embed your standard metadata template when you export if you do so in a compatible format. I add my standard metadata to every file as I import it.
