Hello, I was told that Sigma (24-70 ) was almost as good as Canon(24-70).
Well I was shooting 24-60 Sigma yesterday and compared it to my kit lens 18-55 Canon. The kit lens had more details in the picture than the Sigma.
Is the 24-70 Sigma really good compare to the 24-60?

:)

I've heard the optically both sigs are similar. The 24-70 sig is a fine lens with very good optics, comparable to Canon's version in my view.
Maybe you can upload some pictures with the kit and the 24-60, as I suspect something is not right with the lens if the kit is out performing it.
