Morning.. time to go get a duck shot and box shot (fresh ones from today) to appease the gods

I'lll take my 1D2 out for a test drive, maybe with the 70-200/4 ISL at the nearby duck pond when it gets here.

I already promised a duck and a box when the MKIII arrives...:p

I love Herons - but geese annoy the heck out of me -- when you have 10 acres of geese making noise -- grrr --- SHUT UP!!!!!!

In the park across the street, we have hundreds of resident Mallards, and another half dozen species that are here part-time in addition to a few geese, and a nesting population of about fifty heron pairs. To say nothing of gulls.

Unfortunately, they all poop on the sidewalks and grass in the park - and elsewhere.

Two days ago, I felt a few "rain drops", and noticed that they were a few white "raindrops" on my jacket - a quick glance up and I realized the tree above me had a half dozen gulls sitting on the branches.

I like pictures of boxes and ducks.
