I'm sure i saw a link to these on this site about a year ago.Googling suprisingly didn't help.
From what i remember a retired saab (?) engineer built some working scale model engines such as spitfire,the first daimler benz car engine,an early harley,the wright bothers airplane engine,etc

Does anyone know this site?

Oddly i can't find any info on the engines at that address.I think now that i was first shown the link by someone in a motorsport forum who explained which engines were which.I'll see if i can find out more.Emailing the photographer may be the only option

Mmm couldn't find a link to the photographer :-(
strmrdr the ones you showed are commercially available kits .The page i originally linked are all one off handmade engines .I found out the builders name -His name is Per Gillbrand and for many years he was boss of head development at Saab.
It would be interesting to find out more if anyone knows?
