Well yesterday my 1dMk2N arrived. I had class during the day, and i have my deliveries sent to my parents house cause there's always something there. I get there around 4PM and apparently UPS had already come....No camera... I was quite a bit mad, so I tracked the package, called UPS and they said it should still make it there by the end of the day. About an hour later the doorbell rang and I had a lovely brown box with my name on it!

I do have one question though, I looked through the custom functions and could not find one that would allow me to change exposure when in Aperture priority? On my 20D I can just turn the wheel to the right and it will over/under expose, and on the Mk2N it appears as though I have to hold down the button on top and turn the wheel thats on top, right next to the button and its very very awkward?

Other than that, so far I love this thing, its going to take some getting used to though thats for sure! A couple pictures to be up soon(sorry, no ducks!)

PS-My mom got a G7 yesterday, that is probably the nices P&S ive ever seen!

yep, as mentioned the back wheel does it when on... I think you can also turn that off in the CFs or PFs (on the CPU) if you want so it only works with the button...

What you can also do it half depress the shutter, than use the larger dial on the back for EC. Much easier.

Congrats on the new camera. The G7 is a nice camera. I've looked at it and wondered if I should get one, but why? For an adult with no desire to have a DSLR, though, it's far superior than most P&S's. Your Mom has good taste.

Thanks for the info everybody! Ya she wanted something small(even though for a PS its kinda big) to take to concerts or family things and stuff like that. I am impressed with it though! its nice.

But my 1D is much nicer :D Like i said, no ducks but here's two quick snaps(No pp, shot as jpg then resized is all) with it. I have been so busy that I havent really been able to use it much, but im leaving to shoot an event in Chicago on Tuesday so it will really get tested then!
