Critique please. The print doesn't look too good to me, but looks okay on the computer. Would you crop it, if so how? I like it then again I don't:p I do like the way the green lights draw your eyes to the back of the photo though.

Regarding cropping, the bottom part of the tulips stems isnt very interesting and very dark. A 8x10 crop would get rid of nicely but keeping the tulips and buildings in the background. Croasdail making stuff up More info | Jun 15, 2007 22:23 | #7 You know, you have a lot of the elements there in this image. You have nature thriving in a concrete canyon, neat effect. The issue is the lights you mention leading your eye down the street, they lead away from the subject, the flowers. So you have a bit of contention here - added to that the no u-turn sign popping up. So I am not really sure how or what to do here. I am not super keen on either cropping idea simply because you want the tall buildings to contrast with the flowers. But something isn't coming all the way together here. Perhaps it is the color mismatch going on, very saturated flowers, very neutrally saturated buildings. Try going b/w with this... who knows.

I think it adds a lot of character to the image. XTi | BG-E3 | 430EX | 17-55 f2.8 IS | 85 f1.8 | Sigma 30 f1.4 | [Sold 18-55 f3.5-5.6 | 50 f1.8 | Tamron 28-75 f2.8]
