Critique please. The print doesn't look too good to me, but looks okay on the computer. Would you crop it, if so how? I like it then again I don't:p I do like the way the green lights draw your eyes to the back of the photo though.

Keep in mind I know nothing (seriously), but the tulips look a tad oversaturated... at least in comparison with the other buildings and stuff. Don't know if that is valid criticism or not, anyone else?

Id crop it just above the tulips.
They look a little soft on my monitor and nicely saturated without being over saturated.

A shallower(?) depth of field may have helped this picture....My inexperienced opinion. Does anyone else agree?

I like the composition and colours. I find the front most tulips being out of focus distracting. Regarding cropping, the bottom part of the tulips stems isnt very interesting and very dark. A 8x10 crop would get rid of nicely but keeping the tulips and buildings in the background.

Exposures on the screen and printed exposures are very different. Flaws that arent noticable on a monitor can be more visible when printed, but some flaws (like noise) are most acceptable when printed (it looks like film grain).

You know, you have a lot of the elements there in this image. You have nature thriving in a concrete canyon, neat effect. The issue is the lights you mention leading your eye down the street, they lead away from the subject, the flowers. So you have a bit of contention here - added to that the no u-turn sign popping up. So I am not really sure how or what to do here. I am not super keen on either cropping idea simply because you want the tall buildings to contrast with the flowers. But something isn't coming all the way together here. Perhaps it is the color mismatch going on, very saturated flowers, very neutrally saturated buildings. Try going b/w with this... who knows.

I prefer the original cropping keeping the street portion of the image. I think it adds a lot of character to the image.

Hey thanks for the comments everyone!!!

Croasdail, yes, there is a lot going on.....I didn't even see the u-turn sign, lol

Howzitboy, that crop isn't bad at all, but I wanted to somehow keep the buildings.

The photo isn't cropped, but I think the problem is the satruration of the flowers against the bland buildings. I think I'll try it B&W.

Thanks again for the comments!
