Saw this cute little guy sitting on my car hood coming back from a cicada shoot. He was so green I just had to snap a pic. The little fella had attitude as well. As soon as he caw the lens coming in his many eyes, he struck a threating pose and stood his ground.

Nice eyes, but I really like the colour of that beast.

Good shot - you must have had your eyes open to find him.

Must be hard to hide with that colour.

Thanx for the comments all. I'm not sure what it is but I think Brian is right, it's some type of crab spider. He was on my bag as I was coming out of the woods and I saw the little guy jump onto the car hood and scurry away. I still had the 100mm and flash so I to a few and got lucky with this one. Hard to take a macro shot leaning over a car hood. ;)
