How can I speed up this process?

Can someone tell me what I need to do to speed up my computer? It takes forever to upload pics to smugmug-Do I need more memory? Is it this slow for everyone? Thanks in advance!

Rebecca, there's likely many people here willing to help but you will need to give some more information first.
For example: what size are the pics, what type of internet connection do you have/what speed,your computer specs, are you trying to upload from internal hard drive or external memory source...etc

to "upload" faster u need faster internet connection id gamble to say.
